Description
We recently returned from a visit to the quite rural and Amish area of Holmes County, Ohio, USA. This was a refreshing visit...seeing those who use horses instead of tractors to work the fields. Horses such as these Belgian draft horses are seen sometimes six abreast pulling the plows. Also seen are Percheron horses but not plentiful as the Belgians.

Lovely draft horses. I think I preferr them to the delicate Arabians...must be all those Budweiser commercials.. ;]
They're beautiful horses and well, working with them must be different from working with machines, they're living animals!

Very nice capture of these horses. There is something about having "a pair" in a picture that captures the eye.
