Description
This is the Vue version of an image that I've also done in Bryce. I wanted to see if I could do it and what things were better and worse between the two programs. And what did I conclude.... I don't know. Just trying to match angles, lighting and camera views was difficult enough.
I know tons more about Bryce than I do with Vue. Give me a few years with Vue and I might know more to do a fair comparison. Working with and creating mats goes to Bryce, lighting and atmosphere goes to Vue and when using trees and foliage, it's easily Vue. Building non-landscape scenes- Bryce.

boat by transpond, cavern pieces made in ZBrush. I touched up both images in postwork. If you have a dark monitor, not much will show up. Sorry.

I like it very much!!!Very brilliant and magic image!!!bravo!V:DDD
Beautiful work with lights and such. Well done! I prefer the Vue version.
You have a magic touch with lights! Shows up beautifully on my monitor. Nice subtle effect. :)
The bryce version is softer/blurrier. Good match to the two, hard to get everything the same. Nice work :)
Beautiful image!
Very mystical scene. Love the lighting. :)
I see the rock layers aren't as visible as in the Bryce version, and I agree that the Bryce version is a little softer. Still, I'd say it's just as good, in a slightly different way. Nicely done!
There appears to be (visually) more light coming in from the tunnel opening, a bit more clarity to some rock formations and shadow, but......it appears to me people, play nice that it takes on more of an unreal, realism? Make any sense? Like an oil painting? as opposed to a photograph? What the hell do I know anyway, I play with fractals....smile Either way, your work stands alone...look forward to the continued exporations. (=
