there's a happy thought and pic,,,NOT..tomorrows October...you're making me older than what I am =)))) to bad the glass case was around it..spoils the details..
Cool capture ! It is so cool to see things from the past that have had such a place in history. This is in remarkable shape for it's age.As the holiday draws near, I am certain you will scare us appropriately :) Excellent shot even under glass !!~*****~!!
there a reason I shot at sunset. One I was there at the time and two sunset in life . this was the last travel one did of the body before it goes in the ground. The spirit is gone to another place
An elegant carriage for an elegant journery. I really like the lighting and graininess, it adds a ghostly sense to this.
That's beautiful! What a nice ride. Too bad you had to be dead to ride in it.
What a wonderful capture of this old hurst.
horse limo! excellent craftsmanship and capture since you was looking through glass
Beautiful but erie photo! It is so long ago that they used these carriages..The mood is so powerful. It IS October across the ocean, lol! So your not too early :)

"Bring out Your Dead!"

It's so cool to see things of the past..it is so long ago that they used these carriages! Wonderful capture** :)
It reminds me of what the dead royals or very important (dead) people would be carried in. It is a beautiful work of art. It looks very European. Fantastic capture, Jock.
The last ride is a noble one. At Arlington the highest honor is "everything by hand... and horsedrawn."
Impressive old carriage....!!!! A excellent photo Jock....!!!
Neat carriage - my only suggestion is investing in a circular polarization filter for the lens, it'd let you kill those reflections in the glass.
I love these pictures of gorgeous old-time craftsmanship. Beautiful!
really beautifully seen and captured ...:)))
Impressive capture of this carriage showing how our dead beloved were transported in those times!
