Wonderful captured this swallow tails. I know they are very seldom and quite big, but I never have seen one without a needle in his back (shame)!!! Thank you for bringing us all this insects and animals more near, Richard. I enjoy to see your photos and to learn new things about your country and the nature!! Hugs Ute

This song came to mind immediately.."Across my dreams, with nets of wonder I chase the bright elusive butterfly of love" I love how they seem to be elusive and yet seem to want to show off a bit for you.And the patterns on the wings are just beautiful!! Beautiful images Richard, a lovely gift indeed!

Superb composition!Beautiful photos!Super!!V
Very, very pretty!!
Great collage showing so well how difficult they are to shoot! Impresisve work!
Silent, gently moving, perfect timing and struggling with leg muscles that complain about the strange positions typical of a nature photographer. The reward here has been great and size of these butterflies can readily be appreciated compared to the flowers.
Richard, Amazing isn't it, how as artists we work so hard to achieve a beauty that is so evident in the natural world? These are beautiful fragile creatures whose lifespan is far too short! Thanks for sharing these beautiful images! Leanndra
