Description
Hello my friends!
Something different today!
I have been working on restoring a family photo for a friend at work. This is a photo of his dear late grandfather,
who was some kind of royalty? He wanted to clean up the image to put on his website.
It was far more challenging than I had guessed! Had I been charging him as a client, it would have cost him dearly!
But all my friends get the 100% discount! ; )
It's not perfect, but he was very happy!
I love these kinds of projects, I learn something from each one.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday,
and a super weekend!
; )

Looks real good to me...it's challenging and rewarding..well done
wow good job!...I have worked on some old photos, the heavy cardboard type and it is a challange, but certainly rewarding. After all the concentration I then made another version where I cut and pasted some current pictures into the photo...digital resources are so incredible when you think about it, just photoshop away the damage...
A fine fix up...sure does look Regal.
Pretty cool job on this!! I would have cloned out that large white mark in the top left corner as I find it quite distracting and I would have added a 'lil more contrast but other than that, it's really good! I bet he's pleased with it indeed! :)
100% discount? Ugh, I have some things I need to send you, heheh. You had me going there, because I didn't think from the thumb that this was your grandfather. These are tough projects, but teach you resortation techniques. Too bad there is no quick fix for these.
