Description
This was the first image I created for the October issue of 3DWorld, and is the final result of the related tutorial.
I didn't have time to model a completely original robot for the BG troops, so I modeled a new anime styled robot head, and heavy weapon-limbs to replace the originals on the Daz Charger model, and then completely re-textured them using layers of pocedurals and bitmap decals for customisation.

As my monitor is playing up I cannot fully appreciate this image but from what I can see it carries all the trademarks that make your images so generally enjoyable.
