This cute lil' guy is dedicated to Shari (tizjezzme), my fellow Minnesotan! Since I couldn't find a Loon, I hope this young Robin will do the trick!
I was sitting in the grass taking pics of a flower and this squawking noise behind me caught my attention! I think he was petrified cuz he didn't move as I got close enough for this pic. My first wild animal shot! WOOOHOOOOO. LOL...

WOOOO HOOOOO for you indeed!!! I have yet to take one of those wild animal shots....if you dont count the ones taken of Eija without her leach, LOL. It is even perfectly executed as well!!! Impressive capture with perfect clarity and DOF. Unfortunatly for that little fella i wouldnt call him beautiful. Looks kinda weird to me, LOL. Wonderful dedication to an artist thats made animal/nature-photography into an art in itself. Have a wonderful sunday...oooh, will ya look at this looooong comment...i do apologize. #:O)

Nice capture... It is strange that young mammals seem adorable while young birds (to my eye at least) are invariably ugly. Or maybe it is just me.
