posting in the forums I find that a hard newline (enter key) causes the cursor to jump around the text area for the post. not every time but often enough to be really really irritating. the browser is netscape 6.2 on win98 if the same problems shows up when booted into linux I'll let you know.

I would have to agree. I use the enter all the time for formatting, that and (br) when needed.. comments, headers, etc... but in the main body area, it's all hard returns.. never a problem here either. Hmmm.. and the fact that it happens under two platforms is strange. Perhaps something with Netscape? Anyone else with 6.2 having this issue ??

if the same problems shows up when booted into linux I'll let you know. ermm so far we don't know if it's happening under linux so it's just win98. might be a bad keyboard key.
