First off, I did resolve this but it took some time, mostly just trying to find it in the DAZ store.

Finally found it in DIM, uninstalled, re-downloaded & installed through DIM. Daz Studio 4.24 was showing the products now, but couldn't find the items when trying to load or merge.

Uninstalled again, but didn't install. Got the IM00054261-01_dForceClothingSet02forGenesis8Females.zip and manually added to My DAZ 3D Library, and that worked.

I'm just wondering why this might be? In case.

Pretty much. A couple months back when DS6 came out (which I've since uninstalled), there was some confusion and updated something I shouldn't have I guess with DS4.25. So in Studio, items I've had for some time, already used with a saved scene, were missing elements. I close DS then go into DIM & uninstall that item. It doesn't show then as Ready to install, but does in Ready to Download. After downloading & installing, it works as expected in DS.

That would imply that the zips and the manifests were missing - DIM doesn't look directly at the installed files (which would be very slow) but at the installation manifests (.dsx files in the manifest Archive folder, set in Preferences). If there is no manifest it will see the product as uninstalled and show it in Ready To Instal 9if the zip is present and matches the one on the servers) or Ready To Download. Missing files in DS wouldn't afect or be affected by that, so it could wel be that you have some kind of file system issue (OneDrive moving things, for example).

Ah. That could be. Fortunately it's not been a major issue. When something is missing, I just close DS then go to DIM & search for that item & uninstall, etc. At least it's getting things straightened out I guess.

You don't have to close DS - in fact doing that risks having the PostgreSQL database closeed when adding content, meaning it won't be added to the content panes except under daz Studio (or Poser) Formats (this wouldn't stop the files being found, however, so it isn't the root of your issue). Just install, then right-click on the content direcotry container in DS and select Refresh to have the files show up.

I have to close the scene though otherwise it won't re-install correctly. But haven't had any issues closing DS. When I reopen, then open the scene that was missing items, they're there and all is well.
