At least he follows the one and only rule, to mark his products AI
I barely visit the store anymore, too much AI, even from vendors that shouldn't feel the necessity to "create" such crap.
I honor honest work, not writing some words and flooding the marked.
I don't buy anything AI! Not here, not at daz no where at all.
The same goes for the free stuff.
Thanks, but no thanks, keep the AI products, that will destroy your business in the end.
Don't get confused, with "you" I mean vendors selling AI garbage.
I have some of OlegTOB's creations. Mazzam is correct in saying that they don't follow Poser naming conventions. They do Pose well but, lacking Poser naming conventions for body parts, they have to be posed entirely from scratch. They look pretty good when rendered with Superfly. The textures are just one big texture on a single material zone, so customizing would be tricky but not impossible.
I think all of the commentary here is true. That is, the items, though nicely made would benefit from the following: 1) some sample poses; 2) some material zones to make retexturing easier; 3) IK chains to help with posing; and, 4) following Poser's naming conventions so that posing would be easier.
In fairness, olegTOB is one of the few content creators that's doing anything new for Poser so good on him. If you don't like his stuff or use monsters in your art, don't buy it.🤗

Oh, thanks for the explanation, Molly. Hmm... I’m actually curious; I’d already been considering one of his products. Now I’m even more curious about what you mean regarding the naming conventions XD I think I’ll give it a chance anyway... at least this one. It’s a real shame about the missing material zones, but I suppose that’s the case with most AI products. This would actually be the first one I’ve bought intentionally... I think I’ll add one to my wishlist :) Thanks for explaining. Until now, I’d assumed they were static figures with pre-set poses, not individually posable.I have some of OlegTOB's creations. By naming conventions I mean the naming hierarchy that goes Body-->hip-->abdomen or hip-->R thigh, etc. Pose files always call for those body part names and you can use any pose applied to any figure although the results may only slightly resemble the pose designed for another character. That does give you a starting place but when those conventions are not followed, pose files for conventional Poser character won't work at all.
I have the same issue with importing rigged FBX figures. They are often (not always) poseable but don't follow Poser hierarchy naming conventions at all. As a side issue, I wish that the development team put a bit more time into improving the import and export functions of Poser. =\

P.S. I am working on a picture that will include some of olegTOB's stuff and I'll try to remember to link to it here.
I have a few of those creatures, too, and I like them. What the dickens is wrong with offering something different from NVITWS?? I am sick and tired of the same old bland-faced, big boobs Barbie dolls. So it's AI. Go through the darn store and look around and see just how many merchants use AI in their products. PhotoShop itself is mostly AI these days, so if you use that app, you use AI. Don't like it? Don't buy it! But please do try to stop jamming everything into your narrow little box of what be offered here... It's not a hangout for just Daz and Poser, after all!

Not a hangout, you're right again, but it was a store with nice vendors, CREATING beautiful things.
It took time, it was mostly made with love, but it was worth it. Worth the time to wait, worth the money to pay.
And honestly, I deny to pay for anything, that costs the vendor 5 bucks a month (only as an example for one of the cheap AI)
And for the last time you're right about Photoshop.
A reason, why I never upgraded from CS5 is the subscription theft and the second, that I won't use AI, not in 3d, not in 2d.
Video killed the radio star ...
It was a nice song, but the radio still exists, still playing music and this will never change.
The day will come, AI will be so cheap, that everyone can afford it to write own prompts and get as many 3d items as wanted.
Who will then still buy anything here or at daz or any 3d store at all?

It's not honest work, it's the hope for the fast money with some prompts written to an AI.
And yes, you're right again: Don't like it? Don't buy it!
I will follow exactly that advice, in fact already doing exactly that for a long time now.
Only problem is, that many still don't mark their work as AI and it gets more and more difficult to see, if something is AI or not.
Renderosity has at least the rule to mark AI, at daz3d one can only guess. Not a hangout, you're right again, but it was a store with nice vendors, CREATING beautiful things.

LOL, I would! I am lazy and an ancient fossil who takes too long to learn new things, so I'd rather buy what I need. And if it illustrates my stories, than it makes no difference to me on what platform it was created; they all have their strength and weaknesses. I write. I illustrate what I write. Poser, Daz or AI or a pencil scribble, if it gets my point across, bring it on! What does get to me, though, are the horrendous prices for a handful of AI renders... That part is so not worth it!

Because 10 bucks a month to make 3d stuff is cheap. NOT CREATE, cause that's something complete different.
I was shown a link to meshy, just take a look there, unlimited 3d model download. How much money one can make out of 10 bucks. Let that sink in for a sec.
Yes, it is cheap for people, who wanna make the fast money.
In the end, it will be the most expensive thing one can use, but that story is written on another piece of paper.

I've seen rooms and houses and environment stuff i.e. at daz3d for extreme high prices and it really makes me wonder, why anyone would pay for it, when everyone can make a free account or a monthly subscription, write some prompts and get the same for 10 bucks instead of 30, 40 and more.
Beside that, I wouldn't take it even if it would be for free.
Not to start with the 2d stuff you've just mentioned.
Something that really makes me angry, cause it's not marked AI at all and people paying money for that stuff. This isn't fair to the people, that's fraud.
Nope, you wouldn't buy, as long as you don't have the money sh***ing donkey in your garden. You would save your money for other stuff and get the item you want at meshy for a low price :) Otherwise I must think, you're insane, throwing away your money. And I doubt very much, that you are insane.
If people wanna buy AI, not my business, if people wanna use AI, again, not my business, if people are not willing to see, also not my business.
But I wanna see honesty, so that I don't buy by mistake any AI stuff.
And honesty is missing, in the stores, in the galleries and who knows, where else (beside all the lies in rl).
That I can agree with, it drives me nuts, too, when people claim they absofreakinlutely did not use AI and it just screams AI... Sone of the very big merchants are doing that.
“They writes some bits o’ their letters in them wee codies. That’s a terrible thing tae do to a reader. It’s hard enough readin’ the normal words, wi’oot somebody jumblin’ them all up.”
If you're finding products in the store that aren't marked as AI but you think should be, then contact support. You'll get better results than posting here.

@RedPhantom I seriously doubt that contacting support would result in anything changing on that front. I imagine it goes more like this: Customer sees item obviously made of AI stuff. Customer puts in report. Support asks vendor about it. Vendor says, "No AI here, boss!" Support accepts that answer. Nothing happens.

It may not change anything. But you still have a better chance than posting here.

Hello Author, you're wrong!
The era of software rendering—with those long, sleepless nights spent waiting for the final output of a manually lit scene, and the painstaking arrangement of objects and background buildings—is fading into the past; the "old-school" artist who still believes he is crafting his images side-by-side with the Creator is simply too smug to see that the machine does it better.

Instead of resisting the current—creating drag and going in circles—you need to flow with it to achieve your goals.

That are two parts. Don't mix it please. What you call "the old artist believes": I doubt that this is based on a true backstory. That's why it's called believing. People who make products are looking for the easiest way to do that. Everywhere. And they say a lot of things to sell more. If you need to make money from something, you don't have the luxury of investing 2 days in a project that doesn't sell (but is close to your heart).the "old-school" artist who still believes he is crafting his images side-by-side with the Creator is simply too smug to see that the machine does it better.
Second: Does machines make a better job? Depends on what you want to achieve. Right now AI can't create what I want. And I spent a lot of time to figure it out. Now I use it for what it can now (grammar, language training) and close my ears for all the big promises of guys who want to sell something (remember: '... they say a lot of things to sell more'), AI 'abilities' too. I wouldn't judge anyone for using AI. I'm just completely perplexed that people spend money on something like this without need.
There are objective measures of 3D product quality.
1. mesh density and detail a measure of quality for a very long time
2. provision of detailed material zones zones created with the group editor so users can change materials and other vendors can create and sell texture sets for the figure.
If anyone can train AI to provide these characteristics that is fine with me.
But in the past only a few gifted artists with great technical skills have done it really well.
Average means you can use it close up without distortion or jagged edges and it looks moderately real when rendered. Eyes look like eyes, teeth like teeth, etc.
Item 1 is particularly subjective. What one really needs is good topology. Local vendors like Cybertenko and Truform do a good job of balancing resolution. I've used Cybertenko products that seemed chunky and came to life with a level or two of subD. Truform products also seem to perform well, even though the environments are often ambitious. One could argue for more texture, but I have a crapton of shaders in my library. I've also bought Luthbel products off the Daz store. They look beautiful but they load with subdiv 4 and are gigabyte downloads that takes up even more disc space because the vendor does not seem to understand the idea of baking normal maps from the high-poly sculpt to give detail without cranking overhead into the stratosphere.
Item 2 depends on item 1. If the topology does not support well-defined texture zones with edge-loops, then there can't be texture zones.
No, AI does not seem to be up to the task at this point in time. I believe I have seen undeclared AI mesh in Shreddder products and the topology is awful - I looked at the mesh and could not figure out why the modeling was so shoddy, why the model looked that way, how he got that end result. Now that we know the guy relies on AI a lot, it all makes sense. That said, interactions with that vendor lead me to believe he is, in fact, a really nice guy! And in some places, it could just be the mesh was decimated to reduce load on the computer. Without more insight into process, it's hard to say for sure.

This vendor might benefit from adult supervision. He is flooding the marketplace with monster creatures seemingly created with AI. It is hard to find any monsters in the galleries, does anyone actually want this sort of product?. The vendor has obvious technical talent but displays no interest in what artists might do with his products. His products come with no conventional poses, not even a zero pose. Instead they come with a collection of fight animations. His cr2's do not follow conventional part naming conventions. Customer support is not helpful, criticizing users rather than trying to help them, recent response telling me to clean up my image with AI. Is this the sort of vendor Rendo wants to feature?
