What inspires you to create the art that you do? Is it a personal experience or memory from your childhood, a compelling image you've seen somewhere, a particular place you've visited or traveled to, a favorite pet or person?

Well, let me start then :)

First music, music is a huge inspiration. Beside that, my fantasy is an ongoing process and for my Topsy and Barnabus render I mixed fantasy with reality.
Sometimes it's an item itself that gives me an inspiration.
And nature of course, so many ideas by just being outside and looking around :)

You'll laugh. Rick and Morty right now. I luv the show. I'm trying to get back to modeling in Blender. So I have decided to try to model the main characters. More craft than art I guess but I enjoy it. I remember years ago modeling the Sponge Bob crew. A lot of fun and good practice. My first post on this site in a long time.

Nothing to laugh about but to love!

Most of the time, I illustrate my stories. In between, I work on learning new techniques to improve my images, like lighting, Poses, Cloth Draping. I'll look at Pinterest for ideas. I don't copy what I see just give a rough impression. 

This was from a magic user with glowing hands.

This was from an angel image that was loading slowly and was out of focus. It made it look like he was wearing glasses. He wasn't. He was also wearing robes, but I chose  armor instead.

Oh my, that's really good, an angel with glasses, perfect!

And I like how the rays spread from the tip of the sword.

I am mostly inspired by things I read currently (I enjoy mystery novels and science fiction novels), some movies I see and, above all, the Silver Age comic books from grade school days.  Of course, visits to the galleries of artists I admire here, at Cara or DeviantArt (some 3D graphics and some handmade 2D images) really sparks an idea.  Finally, the content creators' works...  I see a character, prop or setting for sale and....  =)
