It could be an acid trip in here with time travelling poodles, candy conjuring witches, some with cool hats, strange creatures of all types, waste lands with a red balloon and I swear one of the slick bots even had a cape... 😵

Anybody know of an upscaler/face restorer that does not change eye colours when fixing? Been using this one https://arc.tencent.com/en/ai-demos/faceRestoration and while it's very good I have noticed it will take away effects on the eyes that I really want to keep. So my elves and vampires and demons and bots all get pretty eyes but no longer have that extra glow. Like this one. Here's the BEFORE, with blue glowing eyes as specified in the prompt.

And, depending on the pose, the fix will sometimes make one eye good and the other even worse than in the original. Like these:

layer it in Gimp (Photoshop whatever) add transparency to the layer and erase the bits you don't want with a soft brush so the original shows through

Now that would be good for a party display. Put down a couple of pieces of fish and you got fish & chips kitty. Cute, but unlike those ultra-realistic cakes, it looks like a fun serving idea.
@Kenmac -- thanks, off to check it out. Had an insanely busy day what with grocery shopping for 2 houses, dealing with power companies & plumbers to replace old hot water boiler and then an emergency lockdown and take cover alert due to an armed and dangerous idiot on the loose next town over. Twice in one day, mind you, the Mounties arrested the first lunatic from up the Bay without any violence, still on the hunt for Muppet Number Two. No, not connected far as I know but lately this little island is becoming Crime Central or so it seems. Most of it is drugs and gangs coming in from the mainland and elsewhere but there's a lot of desperate people with other issues running amok and afoul of the law these days. Scary business, especially for us broke up old phartz who can't get out of our own way on most good days, let alone when there's any kind of emergency.
Supper, then a rest and we'll see how it goes. Hopefully tomorrow will be better -- or at least no worse.
So. SDXL's new update looks like it's gonna take a bit of getting used to. Negative prompts ability is nice but can be tricky, I think because it doesn't seem to need as many as regular SD does to avoid messes. Different aspect ratios other than square will take figuring out too, first time I went with what seemed closest to my preferred 576 x 768, in other words Vertical ratio. Was that ever a mistake! Character's proportions resembled that stretch comic book dude, Mr. Elastic I think's the name. Big nope, back to square ... at least for now.
Right clicking and opening the images in a new tab to see them better before deciding which to keep has changed in that the temp/preview renders are watermarked now when they weren't before unless you chose HD download. It can still remove its own watermarks with the Cleanup tool, though, but the resolution is only 720 x 720 and enhancing/upscaling slaps them right back on your freshly cleaned render, unless you pay for a subscription. Thought that was only supposed to be while it was in Beta.
Is it still non-commercial only or can paid users now sell their SDXL art? Haven't seen anything on that, wonder if they'll update their EULA/TOS now that it's the official 1.0 version? I don't do commercial art now, but if I ever get the urge again, it would be nice to have that choice. Especially if one is going to be paying for a subscription.
Finally, a couple of test pics. My human subjects having failed me, it was back to the Doctor again. He has at last attained the ultimate regeneration and is now -- Ta Da! -- a Ginger.
