Subject: A different animation test.

I hope I'm not making people sick of these animation tests :)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CHMASU8M

I'm not posting this one on youtube as I dont want it to be wide spread, its not ready for mass consumption.

I used one of the default scenes to get the initial idea W.I.P going.

I want to include this as an intro or outtro for a larger video, and its a tribute to a brilliant musician who sadly took his own life at an early age.  The music that you hear is a cover of one of his original tunes done by a friend of mine.  You wont find any of this musicians tunes on iTunes or CD Store, he was exclusive to the 8-Bit Music scene.

Now there are elements that I would like to add to this scene, I know Carrara is quite capable of producing, I just need a nudge in the right direction.

  • Water Falls
  • Birds Flying
  • Rolling Clouds
  • Trees swaying in the wind?

I want to give it a dreamy kind of feel, like a fresh springs day, the shape that you see at the end was the Logo that he used has his signature.  So its there as a kind of surprise, because as you watch the video you dont know what or who its about till you see the last few seconds as a big surprise.

Any suggestions / comments are appreciated and welcome.

PS its a 256MB Download and it took 10 Hours to render with my small render farm.

VERY quick and rough---"spinning" one of the cloud presets from the Browser--the cloud Surface Replicated on an invisible Infinite Plane.
