Thank you all very much for your replies!
@jt411: I've already checked Marks' tutorials, but they are all movies and, as I've stated in my first post, I'd love to work with written tutorials, it's easier for me at the moment. Most probably I'll check them out later when I'm a little bit skilled ;o)
@bwtr: thanks for that link! Besides the tutorials this seems to be a VERY interesting side, too! And you mean I can simply start with any of the tutorials? I'm sure I'll try it this evening.
@GKDantas: The link is saved in my favorites!

I'm working for quite some time now with C6P and I'd love to learn how to model, too. I just don't know where to begin and how. The manual isn't really helpful and the artist guide is just a little help for me regarding primitives. Everything else is still a mystery.
I wonder if anybody knows if there are tutorials out there (written ones, no movies please, I can't work with them) which would teach me how to model things in C6. Or is there perhaps a book available that I could buy for that purpose? Or an online group (like a yahoo-group) with lessons? I was a member of such a group for Poser some years ago and that was an excellent learning experience (www.poser-freaks.de)!
Your help is highly appreciated, as I'm already so confused with all the spline and vertex modelers that I really don't know where to begin.
Thanks a thousand times!!!
