Subject: Some more questions...

Has anyone played with the new physics engine and fluids yet? Also how about particles and their interactions with objects..any errors in the calculations?

Thanks

Huh, fluids? Did I miss that? Haven't had much time to really get going...

What fluids?

No fluids yet but you can use metaballs in the particle room. No errors doing that. Particles seem bug-free on my system.

Well under the animation section it says  -

PARTICLE GENERATOR

The particle generator in Carrara 6 allows you to create fluid and volumetric effects. New rendering options have been added, allowing you to use splats (squares oriented towards the direction of view) or metaballs in addition to triangles and spheres. The particles interact realistically with other objects and physical forces in your scene. Objects in your scene can be used as particles, allowing you to create swarms of bees, falling leaves, flocks of seagulls, and more.

I guess I was reading more into this than there is.

Thanks
