Hey, Nevercenter is giving away FREE beta version of its upcoming Silo 2.  I don't know if there are any rectrictions on the software at all.  But if you were thinking of buying the current version of Silo you can get that and much more with the beta version...

Woo Hoo! Thanks for the heads-up. Teyon in the 3D modeling forum has been doing some fab figure design in Silo and I've been interested in checking it out.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you have to be a registered user, having already purchased Silo1.1 or 1.4. Would love it in this case if I am wrong.

Give it a try and tell me if you can't download, install, and run it?

OK. I D/L'd it , installed, and it asked for a registration key which I don't have.:(

This might be a good time to finally get that 1.4 license, then. For a hundred bucks I am willing to take a gamble on Silo...

Good point. :-) I've seen some incredible stuff coming out of Silo, and it's in the production pipeline of several major studios, and even some game companies. I guess I'll join the Nevercenter Cult, lol.

Sorry, I never downloaded any of the beta's but from following the development cycle I never heard anything about having to use my license to run it.  I guess you do though.

I don't know when Silo 2.0 will be released.  I've been waiting 2 years since getting 1.4 and the development cycle continues with no sign of an ending soon.
