As Nomuse said, grouping is the answer. Select the figure and all of the cloths (shift clicking or control clicking). Then hit CTL+G to group them. Then if you grab the group, all of the elements will move together. Beware, though, if you have the group triangle twirled down and you grab an individual item that's inside the group, it'll move independently. Be sure to twirl the group closed before moving the group.
You can also scale the whole group, but only proportionally -- that is, you can't just scale up the group to make it tall and skinny; X, Y, and Z values will all scale together.

Is there a way to import a clothed poser figure and have all the parts stick, so that when I move the figure up or pver, the clothes stay on her and I don't have to move them too? I thought about saving as an object, but then I don't know how to select individual parts so that I can tweak them in Carrara. I hope all that makes sense :-)
