Particles are a nice feature in Carrara, but for what use? Here is some inspiration for you

Do not open the Animation if you didn't want see a very nice Girl without clothes on...

So, could you please explain a bit about how you did this?  Are the particles metaballs?  Did you use particle forces to somehow animate the metaballs?  Or are they just particles that are streaming and bouncing off the figure?

I haven't fired up particles in Carrara at all, really, so I'm interested in their capabilities.

Thanks!

Sorry for the delay; but I finished first a new animation. My poor computer hasn't much rest since I have Carrara.
I have made a sample scene for you; so you can easy repeat the effect. In this scene I replaced the girl with a tube; you can replace the tube with an object of your choice. The most important setting in this scenario is to enable collision detection for the particles. You can find it in Particle Emitter Effects tab (Physical Properties).

Aaaah!  Vielen Dank!  Suddenly it makes sense; there's a metaball shape in the particles generators....  As I said, I'd never tried using the particles.

I really do appreciate the guidance!
