I'm making a dragon in Silo for use in Poser but thought it'd be nice to get some practice with Hex2 using the Dragon's head. At least a little anyway. So here's what I did. I won't do more, since my time would be better spent finishing off the dragon but I think I finally have a clue on how some of Hex2 is meant to work. lol.

Nice. Did you do the displacement in HEX or Silo or both?

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.

Thanks gang. The displacement was done in Hex2 only. Silo was strictly used for making the base.

I was going to do that, render in Carrara 2.1 and then post it, but I was running late for work so I posted a screen grab from Hexagon's Ambient Occlusion test.

Thanks. Decided to practice some more before buckling down on anything serious, so here's another doodle.  Maybe one or two more and I'll sit and try some serious work with it.

Here's the base mesh from Silo. As you can see, the face, biceps, triceps, abdomen, ribcage and thighs all received some displacement via the push and smooth brushes. Not shown is the back, which also had musculature displaced onto the surface.
