Being a modeler by nature, and just starting to make things move...why is my guy 'jumping out of his skin'?

If the shaders are procedural, you need to change the method from world to local, or global to local in the shader properties. -TOXE

Well, it's not a procedural. It's a texture map that I made in Photoshop. It's a grid that I wanted to put on the character, find out where it fell, and the paint appropriately in Photoshop again...but I'll try your advice.

While we're at it, is there a way in Carrara to nudge the map around: up, down, and most especially, sideways around the object? Thanks.

Are you using a projection mode? I have a vague memory that some of the modes did stuff like this- I thought I had a link at home, but now that I'm here, I can't find it. Can you move the map with the transform tab? (CS4) Markd
