I'm flattered one of my 'hacks' is considered a technique worth re-posting! Since a deadline is usually breathing down my neck, my, ummmm, techniques are typically a trick that gives me the look I want in the shortest amount of time. There is probably a blend of modeling and shader finessing that would produce something similar. I just haven't taken the time to figure it out. Mark

Playing with the rectangle layer technique by Mark Bremmer. If you don't know what I'm talking about the attached url will show you. It is a pretty smart simple solution.
