- Character Animation to Take Center Stage at Maxon’s July 3D & Motion Design Show. Maxon continues its monthly series of free online shows. One July 21 they'll present their newest 3D & Motion Design show. This particular show has the theme of animation. Check the link for more details.
- Download Over 100 Free Assets from Substance 3D Asset. Adobe has released their updated versions of Substance Painter and Designer (rebranded) and along with the release they have created a large free downloads site called Substance 3D Assets. Subscribers have access to thousands of 3D assets.
- Reallusion's Lip-Sync Animation Contest 2021. Along with some fantastic updates to their lip-sync algorithms in iClone 7, Reallusion is holding a lip-sync Animation Contest with up to $40,000 in prizes. Deadline is September 30, 2021 . Contestants can sign up to get access to a 2-month iClone software license, 4 hours of AI voices from Replica Studios, and lots of free sample characters to get you started.
