I have always had a yearning for the visual arts from a tender age but didn't pursue the dream of becoming a graphic artist. I however went on to develop my skills in Computer Science at The University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. My name is Ramon Kidd. I'm not quite sure when my life in CG begun but it started in my second year of college. I had the CG hunger but didn't have the resources to feed myself. I first hung around Lightwave and look at some of their sample animations and surfed off to dreamland, imagining that i had done it (I'm sure u get the giss). Then it was 3DS Max and Maya ,both were fun but it wasn't love at first sight. Then it was Cinema 4D and I haven't looked back since. I loved the interface but it took some time getting used to but i found some free online resources and they have been really helpful. I have posted some of the work I have done in my gallery, but im no professional, just an aspiring CG artsits, graphic designer, etc, did i mention I love Flash and game development too. Anyhoo, this is just the genesis. Enjoy!
