Hello, my username is hykiora. I am seventeen years old. Drawing has been one of my biggest hobbies since I was able to hold a pencil.

My parents have always been there to tell me to continue drawing and to make tools available to me to practice. I love them dearly, and I want to make them proud by taking my potential as far as it can go. To do that, I need to evaluate my current weaknesses and find ways to solve them.

I tried to take an art class in middle school but it didn't work out for me; I felt like learning the basics would be useless because I was cocky and thought I knew everything. Now that I'm older I've realized that taking advice from more experienced artists would be beneficial. I'm still skeptical about taking a formal art class just yet, but the option is no longer taboo.

 I remember being told that drawing depends heavily on how well the artist sees the world around them. The more you notice, the more details you can incorporate into a drawing. With that said, I plan on using Poser as a reference tool for posing and lighting. I joined Renderosity with the hopes that I'll learn how to use Poser, and in turn learn more about art.
