I am a recreational novice level 3D artist with a great deal to learn. I have a great appreciation for classic pin-up art from the 40's and 50's like Alberto Vargas, Gil Elvgren and even more modern artists like Nagel and Olivia. Elegance and classy over raw. Cute and an innocently sexy tease over just a dirty pic. I try to focus on expression, pose and angles as well as subject matter and I hope to delve further into lighting and set development. I work in Daz Studio and very much enjoy using morphs in customizing characters to resemble actual people, known or unknown. I am also a Sci Fi junkie and Military History enthusiast from way back and I am beginning to work on pin-up images emulating the classic style (or sometimes not, but still classy) in sci-fi and military settings and costumes. I hope to advance into Hexagon eventually as well. I have many clothing/costume ideas that I have yet to find complementary to the pin-up genre just waiting to be created. One day perhaps, but for now I keep it relatively simple. I utilize A LOT of freebies. To me they are great tool to learn with and manipulate without needlessly spending a small fortune on something you may not like or grow tired of, especially for a small scale project.
