Hi
My name's Alan, aka Monet47, and I live in a rather pleasant new town in the UK.
I have recently retired and have taken up digital painting as a hobby. I used to paint in oils many years ago but gave it up. I found it too time consuming and I rarely managed to finish a piece of work - though I did sell one or two in my youth.
I also enjoy photography and have managed to combine this with my painting.  I am currently learning to use Lightwave and Zbrush and hoping to get into creating textures and making 3D clothing. Though I doubt I'll ever be as good as you guys!
Having spent some time perusing the galleries and being really impressed at the quality of work being uploaded I felt it was high time I started putting some of my work on the site. So feel free to comment and thanks for dropping by.
