Description

Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders. Miho had been busy once again. She had again being buried in work after her short visit to what she called paradise. The week had gone by very fast and it was weekend again and thankfully this weekend she did not need to bother that much with work. We had gone to one of her many homes. This was an ancient house with a big courtyard. She liked it there and left it as is... Whatever repair needed to be done, she did using traditional methods to keep the look and feel of the place. Whenever she visited this particular house, she always practiced her martial arts even more than usual... It probably was the atmosphere and also probably because of the stories she had heard as a child about how the family who lived here a long long time ago where masters of kung fu. Night had fallen and I had gone out to get some stuff from the small market. Having finished shopping, I was back. As I entered the house, I heard Miho say "Ready or not here I come...", she had 2 swords in her hand an basically was teasing me to fight with her... She knew and I knew I could never defeat her. She was the master of all martial arts and could take me down even before I reacted.. And on top of that she was wearing such a sexy dress... Already I could not concentrate ;p... Nevertheless I pick up the sword I noticed next to the door (she had purposefully put it there after I had gone out) and went to battle her... eh... actually entertain her..... She was always amused by my lack of skills regarding swordplay..... but playing around with her was always fun and I was not going to miss that even with my lack of swordplay skills..... About this render: I have been busy with my work.... Suddenly there is a lot more things to do... and also I have been tweaking Miho. One problem with making custom character is sooner or later a lot of the clothing items won't fit properly. So have been busy editing the vertices on Miho's mesh to get them close to G2F so that the clothing fits properly. This time I again made tweaks to her face, bosom, tummy, hip, waist and thigh areas. To me she is looking better and better :) ! As was busy with work, kinda was having a hard time thinking of a scene to render. I started on this scene as I usually do and which is with a pose. Once I posed Miho that way (used a pre-packaged pose), I added the 2 Katana's. Then need an environment to put her in and found the old rundown house with courtyard prop. Played with the camera angle, etc until I got the effect I wanted. Then I decided to do a night scene instead of day scene as I always have always done. Though this scene is lit by a daylight HDRI image, I added a semi dome for the sky and put a night texture it came with. Interesting it looked like a night scene. Fiddled with the lighting power until it looked ok. Then decided to add some more lights to the scene. So added the 2 ceiling lighting, one on the corner, one on the side and also added some candles. To light the ceiling lights I used IES lights and for the candles I used texture emission. The scene looked complete. Btw. on my last render "Paradise!", HADCANCER had commented that he was not able to get the water droplet effects before. Here's how got the effect - I actually used the Liquid Geometry Shell G2F and then played with the Opacity, Index of Refraction and specular values until I got it right. Though I use Octane, you can play with the same values in DAZ to get a similar effect under IRAY. Poser should be able to do the same too. I did read on the Octane site that Version 3 will switch to CPU on PCs with non Nvidia graphics cards. Though I wonder how slow that will be..... Hope you all like the render ! Rendered in Daz Studio using the Octane Plugin. No post work done. My previous render - "Paradise" : 085e7b4562034a4706e24e86dcd538d6_thumbna (Content Advisory : Nudity) Enjoy =) ! Rajib

Love the pic and thanks for the info. My current computer will not handle Octane. I am in process of getting one that will. I am illiterate when it comes to rendering. I know Poser best but just started using DS 4.9. I never bothered to really try to learn anything on Poser as I felt at the time I would not live long enough, but now I going to try to learn more as I am officially cured. Unfortunately now my heart went bad on me. I had Autodesk 3d but never used it as it was too complicated. Anyway making you own character is impressive. Ya did good have a cookie on me. Lighting is the one thing I always played with on every render. Like you I play till I find something that comes out half way decent.
