Description
I better explain about the name: Savage comes from the creek flowing nearby, powered the mill actually. It got it's name from Mr. Savage who moved into the area probably to build the mill, etc.
This view is of one of the definitely more interesting 'stuff' shops. Very eclectic. Lots of unusual finds here. We actually picked up one of those Mexican beaded sculptures for about half of what it would have cost in San Antonio. The salesman had no idea what a 'fair' value would be for it. Then he may have been grateful for our pointing out that these things are on a base coat of wax: Do NOT put them in a closed case with high intensity lamps!! (Oh that explains what happened last week.)
I digress... what's new, eh?
Looka da windows in dis place! You can see the old mill poking out all around you if you look for it.
Well, let's move along here. Lots of floor to cover.
Enjoy, thanks for Shoppi... viewing.
