Description
I vowed I would not post another picture until I could do consistent overlay work wherein the image would show sharp details of the overlay. After a couple of weeks of getting nowhere; Buzzzzz came to the rescue. I sent him all the files and he reorganized the layer tree; used a different rock overlay file and tweaked the water by using both SortaSurf and SortaSurf Multi. This combined with Terragen's shore foam presented some very realistic surf.
Thanks to Jay for his efforts here. This has been an excellent learning experience for me.
The POV and surfaces are mine. The sky which was tweaked a bit by me is Jay's.
Thanks for visiting; and for your comments and suggestions.

Magnifique!!! Love that place!
Interesting foam and how it was done.. Nice water surface.
Tremendous teamwork. Another marvel. Agree that the surf is tops. Love the water, overlay, mountains and cool sky. My only comment is that the overlay beach, which looks cool, looks a bit 2-D, maybe would have worked even better under a thin layer of water. EXC+
Wonderfrul and excellent work,Bravo Bob!
Cool render!! Imho i agree with stbc, may be the left frontside overlay part, could give its best underwater, anyway it's still a top work!!
where do you get such great overlays? I mean both of you! Great tork together! Excellent shore
wonderful work:)
Excellent POV terrain and water, agree with stbc about the overlay and a little oversize too.
WOW SUPER !!!!
Each time I think I've just about seen the best that Terragen can do, you and Buzz raise the bar. I don't have a word that applies to the level of excellence here. Bravo.
aplause; clap clap clap!!!
Excellent render, is all what i can say!!!
(Excellent)
I like a lot water and lighting! Wonderful teamwork!
Fantastic Creation, wonderful surface and textur, water, landscaps, POV and mood! Fantastic work!V
I am amazed by this...such a beautiful surf and water!!!! Great POV and terrain, great sky- excellent work in every aspect!!!
Yayyy!! You done it and done it fantastically Bob! This whole image is just awesome! My favorite part is that water! Really lovely and smooth as glass! Excellent work to you both! V
Beautiful team work! I like especially the background. The stones in front are looking IMHO a bit strange. Anyway - this is still an excellent pic!! :-)
Thanks Bob it was fun! Your work is excellent! So sorry I screwed up the foreground. :o( I think i did make pretty good adjustments on the background sufaces though. I don't know? Why don't you re-render using your first file for this work. Perhaps someone could show me how to do overlays better. I think I will jump over to Vue. Besides that's where Planetside is heading anyway. Again, Thanks for the opportunity. Like I said before, cut the bottom off and make a Pano. :o)
Agree with STBC the left foreground rocks look 2d...the rest of the image is amazing and beautiful...super work!!!
Wonderful water and lighting/shadows distribution
Excellent image!! Beautiful shoreline...
Gorgeous. This is a perfectly stunning beach scene.
OMG this is amazing - I am DEFINITLEY going to try overlays again - the shoreline is MAGNIFICENT! Bkg surfacing is very subtle and gorgeous! Love the soft blue sky. This is one OUTSTANDING picture!!! :B
ohh, this is soooo goood!! LOve that water!!VOTE*!
This is an excellent image!!! Wonderful detail all round. Really like the detail you got out of the overlay, just wished terragen could give them more of a 3D look though.
perfect!
Terrific teamwork and a beautiful and absolutely awesome render! Excellent in all aspects.
beautiful ! all is beautiful
The overlay is a little flat from the side (can't change anything about it anyway so forget that :) The rest is simply wonderful!! :)
