In a scene from episode 5, LEXX 2 (reconstructed from the shards of the former ship), takes off from Gamma Huche IV, en route back to the 2 Universes
Another shotgun wedding of Blender and Wings. Wasn't satisfied with the last model, thought I could do better. Blender spheres on a Wings model. Kilt the program 3 times, until I went with simpler mats, and used lighting to bring out the detail..enjoy..;)

Infinity never gets any closer. The textures on the ship toss off notions of simplicity without randomizing.
This is a family site. Maybe the ship is a bit on the phallic side. Anyways could be a scene from the 70's sci fi classic flesh gordon.

Outstanding! My vote also. phallic saymbol??!! Now I know I am getting old - I thought it looks like a spaceship frequently viewed on primetime television. Put on some fairy wings and call it a dragon fly. LMAO.
Anyone who thinks a dragonfly is phallic has a sick mind to begin with. It does however need more organic qualities to it to make it look like the original ship. Mainly front and center where the mouth was on the original ship. Lexx did have to eat you know.
I have to side with RETIRED, Mizrael, & RJC, (sorry Dann-O):o( Besides, the pincers on the other end would be rather painful don't you think? Pak, I think it looks ok, nice, and all that stuff. I showed it to my daughters, they liked it too. "Ooooh daddy! what a weird looking BUG!" they both squealed gleefully... P.S. I think Dann-O has some really cool and original model space ships, what say ye, fellow Renderons?

I'm almost shamed to admit that I used to watch Lexx. What can I say, Kai was cool and Xev was hot. Excellent rendition. I knew what it was as soon as I saw it and even played with the idea of trying to make it myself, although, I'm no where near the skill level required.
I didn't enjoy the TV series, but I think this image is a great representation of the great special effects used in the show. WOW pakled!
