Not pulling your leg -reeally close to my home!!

before it happened... i was a bit dreading the days' chore..

Good that you did not get your cute nose burnt (out of curiosity) Seriously, must have been a bit frightening!! Great photo though!!
Good to hear you were spared! Mother nature is a force we cnnot control, when it turns bad we best run! Thanks for sharing!
What a story! Excellent done!*****!
Live - action - total! If something happens how can it be - Kimmie is always around and present! LOL Fantastic photo with a real marvellous frame around. Uffff 30 loads of dirty clothings such a hard work! Be careful that your electric iron does not get overheated! LOL Your warped humor gets my V
Eeek! Fires that close to home are not fun. Lucky for us Kimmie, the roving reporter, was there to capture it as it happened. Thank goodness you were spared. Maybe they should change their sign to say "Fired Wood" :)
Yow!! At least YOU and the firewood were spared. Scary stuff ... I know, as fire is a real problem in AZ this time of year too. Kimmers, that photo is priceless -- I'm in awe of your talent -- you know when a photo is begging to be taken. Excellent!! and BIG VOTE!!
Yes, you did capture the irony in this shot. So glad they put out the blaze before it got closer. At least your laughing about it all. :o) CC

I bet you were a little hot under the collar. ~:-} Cool thinking to get a picture...I would have panicked and been standing outside with the garden hose. Stay safe...

Wow this sounds very scarey I am so glad you are ok. Fine shot V Cathy xooxox
Yikes... a close call for you! Excellent that you thought to take a pic though. The sign of a true photographer..hehe Great job on the picture Kim and so glad you are ok!! :-)
"30 LOADS OF LAUNDRY????" and then with the Mountain on FIRE....you ran upstairs and grabbed your NIKON? Run for SAFETY Woman!!! lol. I think you were more excited to capture a dangerous fire than run from it, lol. Your experience was very enjoyable to read. With the firewood for sale and the forest fire in the background, it is the perfect capture. I'm sure the price of firewood would go up now. Excellent job on this Post. Aloha
very good shot real good one . sorry about the fire . that is scary
A very cool idea....
Fires are so horrible and scary. Excellent shot.
Very interesting picture Kim! I'm glad you are ok..Excellent capture v :)
