Still learning Hexgagon
having fun modeling all sorts of things.
Here is a new star fighter design I'm
working on, still got a way to go,
but I like it so far.
Inspired by the HO IX aka Goth 229
a German flying wing from WW2
Have a great Wednesday all!
;)

Nice work! I'm still a big Silo 3D fan, but Hexagon is interesting. Like your design, but wonder if the engines shouldn't be air breathers. If everything that comes out of them has to be stored/created internally, they look kinds big. Of course you could have any kind of magic engine in a sci-fi craft - just my $.02. Other than that, a very believable craft.
Well I like it. :-) I have no clue what jc is talking about, but erm... OK, I guess. lol.
Beautiful creation and she looks fast...Excellent work!!!...:))
I am one who is modeling challenged!...I really am amazed how much imagination it takes to deconstruct something mentally and then re-create its parts and come up with a complete reproduction....I have trouble making anything in a modeling program and I have tried....I just know that it is the program!....ha ha..well great job!
Cool "stealth" looking design.
So you've reinvented the new generation Stealth..and your top secret files at groom lake will now be public for the space scientists to use..I hope they give you royalties when the send this one into space as the moon/ mars personal weekend cruiser..nice modeling !!
Funny you should mention that TwoPynts! When I first saw the German HO IX, I had the same thought, the modern American stealth bomber and fighter both took lessons from the HO IX. I like the Flying wing shape and borrowed a bit from each. Originality is just a matter of concealing your sources, right? ;)
Yep...real cool Flying Machine :]
sure to fly with such a fine design! :]
Yes, it is great ! Perfect in aerodynamics... go on please !
looks great. fascinating design. a real cool machine,Erik. !!!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!
The most trouble that I tend to have with these sorts of models is choosing/making a cockpit window texture. It's a little thing, but I just can't seem to get a good one. I wonder how you will do it? Interesting and looking forward to it! =)
Update: I have finished this model, viewable in my "Dark Temple". And will be posting an updated multi-view shot soon.
