Description
Thanks to TedZ for confirming this 'thing' is a railway right-of-way maintenance vehicle of some sort. Condolences to TedZ for having ridden on one in his past. As best I can make out, the seats on this gizmo are cinder-blocks! No wonder he decided to go to sea! ;-D
This shot gives a better idea of the size of the car. That is a full-size Western Maryland cupola caboose. Can't speak for the reason it has tractor tires stored under it other than someone thought it was a good idea at the time.
The crossing sign is more of a souvenir than anything. There is no crossing of the tracks at this point. Indeed or at any point along this route: all over/under passes. The odd section of track makes it look like some giant's model railway which is not quite completed.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
