Description
- Scotland, Glen Affric -
This is the next ridge I wanted to take in the afternoon.
When I lifted a leg for a step and a bad gust of wind was coming it was turning me around and throwing back some steps. So I had to learn to walk on this ridge. Before stepping forward I had to wait until the gust of wind was gone, with both feet on the ground.
Some of you couldn't imagine to use a dog as a balloon. It's simply easy: you are holding the dog at the line, wind is coming and blows the dog up and it looks like you are holding a balloon instead of a dog at the line! Where is the problem? LOL
Thanks a lot for all welcome comments and take it easy today! ;o)))

A beautiful scenery, Rita!! Very nice shot and great atmosphere... Have a great day!! :-))
Ok my dear Rita ...I shall wait....Nice day sweety..
Well....for that theory to be even remotly possible i suppose it needs to be either a very strong wind or a tiny tiny dog...hmmm...but that does not shed any light one WHY OH WHY you just cant use regular balloon instead...bla bla bla... #:oP This shot is really gorgeous! Its simple but the colours and the softness makes it really beautiful. And so does that elegant black frame around it. Excellent work Rita, have a great day #:O)
Eh.... yeah right... I suppose you are right.. This picture once again has great colours and composition.. !
Splendid image of golden grass and a dark brooding hill.
Wild landscape! Beautiful shot!Nice coloring!
Schon wieder so sch! Ich mhte auch mal dort hin... Bussi, ich wsche dir einen schen Tag!
I guess the hike is taking longer than you first imagined. Must be rather frustrating and challenging but such beautiful shots you're capturing along the way Rita
Oh, I see, I see... Okay, I believe you now... But you're probably talking about dogs like "chihuahuas" or kind of! 'cause, trust me dear, we've been to the top of Mt Jura with my 60kg/120lpd bernese, the wind was (at least) about 300kms/h and she never.... hmmm hmmm... wait a minute... No, I'm wrong, we cannot compare, she was not kept in leash... Okay, you may be right, I'll try next time...
Another excellent dramatic Scottish picture - would have liked to see the dog blowing in the wind to get the full 'feel' of the weather 8-)
Drama in the nature...and most beautiful colors! Excellent shot!!!!!
You are such a character! Bravo on the capture! :)
Wow you took this in high winds it's spectacular. My legs would not have even carried me up there lol! A beautiful scenic shot vote Cathy xoxoox
Beautiful image!
Superb those grasses... what a colour !
Wo ist dass Problem! Fliegende Hunde. Was kann ich darauf sagen . . . nun zum foto. Zur meistein Zeit sehe ich das dort kein Sonnenlight die Landschaft gruest, nur Wolken und weisser Himmel. Das ist sehr traurig, weil Scotland ein schoenest land ist. Especially in deinen Aufnahmen. Alles gute Rita. I am trying my German dear, hope you do not mind as I am sure there are many errors.
Thanks for braving the wind to get this shot! I like the way you have the grasses in greater detail in the foreground fading back into the hill :)
