Description
Out strolling around my yard this afternoon, in search of bugs and birds, this sweet Woodpecker took pity on me and posed perfectly for me. (If only I had my new lens, it would have turned out LOTS BETTER) It was fun capturing something besides BlueJays and Robins. :)
Hope you all are doing great .. and are enjoying your Memorial weekend.

Well spotted and captured :)
A nice fellow and a good shot! You will get a new big zoom? which size and trademark?
I'm still trying to capture one of those little boogers! :-O) Excellent presentation!
A nice pic. I like the look between the green.
What a great find and capture Sharilyn!!! We have loads of woodpeckers at home these days...and they sure are pretty...as long as they stay away from the porch..which they dont, lol. Excellent work too, zooming in on it throught those branches and leaves. You did GREAT!!!! Have a wonderful sunday #:O)
This is how I like them, framed in an natural enviroment, and still a clear shot. I really like this one.. Hugz Benny
this is something I expect to see in a wildlife book. Maybe even National Geographic! Excellent shot, and kudos for the woodpecker for posing so nicely :)
Wonderful photo!
Good shot, and nice presentation.
great capture, tizz! You'd like the gallery of my buddy Nelson (artist "nelsone") he's bird-boffo.
