Description
Hi everyone!
The house, which is a copy of Monet's home in Giverny, was modeled in C4D after pictures from guide books and my own taken there. It took me a couple of months to model off and on and although it's not a perfect copy, it's fairly close to the real thing.
Vue Infinite with flower eco-systems. Over 480 mil polys, Render time: 8hours, 40 minutes.
Image updated: Made it darker as per Gareth's suggestion and no more postwork what so ever this time.
This one's for Walther and Randy, who helped me learn enough about C4D to model the house.
Hugs and kissies to both of you!
Credits: Characters, clothing, hair, cat (texture by Lyne), vines: DAZ, Flowering shrubs, roses, tulips, butterflies: DNA, forget-me-nots: Toucan, Painter's tools: Sams 3D, Some Earthenwear Textures: by Monsoon from 3D Commune, Some Lemog textures, Horse Chestnut: my own tree species

My hat is off to you Linda. This is amazing! You are quite the accomplished modeller I think. Bravo for this one, it's superb!
OMG! Now you've added modeling to your plethora of CG skills! I love the way you have the artiste here leaning into his work as if he's intently contemplating his next brush stroke! Gorgeous all-round piece of work!

Nearly missed that one...I'm glad I took a look at the top20 today. A big bravo from me, Linda. You've outdone yourself with this artwork. Excellent modelling job!!! I whish mine would be just half as good as yours. You're a very talented lady and I'm looking forward to your next modelling project. Do you have something in mind already? Another thing that instantly came into my mind while looking at this image is that it somehow reminds me of Guitta's work. She'd have been very proud while seeing this one. And I'm sure she's smiling where she's right now. :))) Many thanks for sharing this exceptional artwork with us!

One can see that there is a lot of work in this picture. I don't have the patience to do so but I love the results :-)
Very nice, reminds me of Paris, even if it isn't.
This is endearing and awesome! I can sit and look at it for a long time because it is really a feast for the eyes. Bravo on the modelling!! The composition is simply gorgeous. AWESOME WORK!!
Fantastic work! EXT!
