Description
Watching this pair of birds build the nest and now feeding chicks, I ventured too close, feeling a whish of air above my head and seeing a full flight bird sweeping just beyond my face. No, could not get that image!
Seeing the vuneralbility of many creatures to man and the efforts the birds made to keep me distant, I felt for them and backed off. A longer lens is the answer and not invading their space at a critical time.
This one then landed on a light pole, fussed at me and gave me "THE EYE"....
Please enjoy the image. Nature is fierce, dangerous, beautiful and silently gentle at times. We must give space.

The sharpness is excellent and I know how difficult it is to capture these guys. Like you said longer lenses do help, but not always necessary, keep on shooting.
