I don't think I could suggest a single thing to make it better Chrisitan! I love it, I think this may be my favourite of your tulip series if I had to choose one which I can't really ; ) I love all the subtle textures, the aged look of the background & the font, the tulip itself is just gorgeous!
I'd like it with any foreground, but the flower is perfect.
Didn't know i would one day say wonderful to something that is dead... But Yes it is just fantastic! Your framing art is just incredible!!! Darling this is perfect! Have a great evening... see you later... DKK :-*

simply superb. a poem of an image. most beautiful artwork. great mood. ich bin einfach hellauf begeistert. * BIG VOTE * #:O)
great postwork, love the texture of the image
Does not look like a photograph but an English, Dutch or German 19th century botanical watercolour. What also adds to the watercolour feel is the paper background and its fibers that are visable. Also the fact that you used india ink for naming and signing of this maganificent presentation.
Your tulip series has been wonderful - and with this one you've refined your style to new spheres! This is a beauty - colours, tones, framing, background: they all support each other, and the atmosphere. With fowers you really can say deep thoughts! :-) Excellent work, dear Christian! :-)
