I am going to have to start numbering these!
Zooming in on the central marina area we see one of Balamer's most famous landmarks --- almost buried in a sea of high-rise buildings: The Bromo Seltzer Tower.

Not exactly a tourist page, but an excellent 'view' of this landmark! What an Idea! I want one!! Anyhow, you can google on 'bromo seltzer tower' and find more links. That link I gave is pretty interesting stuff too if one is into model railroading... I digress (what's new about that, eh?)
WTH is Bromo Seltzer? An headache and antacid medicine that fizzes in water. Not bad stuff IIRC. Not sure if it's still around.
Other buildings are the usual glass 'n' steel 'stuff' you can find any where. The tall, interesting building used to be Maryland National Bank. Not sure what it was before that or what it is now. (The big one just behind the crane.) Not sure what the skinny, pointy one is either. Things change fast. Especially where banks are concerned.
That strange pyramid-stepped building behind the blue roof of the marina is a style of condo that was popular some years back. They are still pretty nice places. Semi-modern industrial look to fit into older neighborhoods.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

interesting though! & has a harbor... is this a pan that you stiched together? if you did well matched, if not still cool :] (think it got a tad compressed too or oversharpened)
lovely view of this industrial town! Makes you think it's a work in progress!
what an impressive and excellent composed panorama! reminds me of Barcelona because of the cran! ;o)))
Dear TW, I am so sorry and so embarrassed that I am this dreadfully far behind on visiting galleries. I have been totally swamped. I'm swimming upstream as fast as I can against a torrent of e-bots! YIKES!! Good Grief!! $210 for a HO scale tower!!! I think I need to be in that business. I wonder how many they sell? ;-) Great photo - and it shows how similar our cities have become. The skyline could fit a hundred different places. Very excellent work as always!!! Love, Meredith
