Description

On April 28th, 2005, the long-thought extinct Ivory-billed Woodpecker was found alive in "Big Woods" Preserve in Arkansas... I, of course, immediately did a Singbird ReMix version of it... Unfortunately, the Songbird Model does have some limits, so I corrected in few items in post; the raggedy crest was added as well as white markings to the exterior folded wing (the flight markings are prefect but the morphed wing folds distort the markings). Well, in anycase, if you have SBRM Woodpeckers, the Ivory-billed's free on my site's downloads, plus links the woodpecker story and videos. (www.empken.com/songbirdremixcentral.html) Credits: Ivory-billed Woodpecker (me), DAZ Cyclorama and RDNA Old Wood. Rendered in Poser 6 and post in Painter 9.

Very cool. I, too, was so impressed that the little woodpecker has returned from extinction. It is good to honour them with your ART. Cheerio lululee
