I've never seen the one's born in our creek so closeup though I have seen them swimming together up the creek to the more hidden part of the woods. Finally, we are eye to eye.

Wow, gorgeous image! It's that time of year! I have a bunch of gosling shots...it's hard to get close.
Gotta love it! Nothing tugs at my heart like baby animals. These ducks are so cute too. Several years ago we noticed a duck sitting on the mulch behind a bush only a few feet from our front door, and after the 2nd or 3rd time I looked and saw it, I realized it must have a nest there. Sure enough, the eggs added up, about one extra one per day, until finally there were 13 of them. One day I came home from work and they were hatching. I actually took video of one of them pecking out of the shell. Within a few days, they were walking around and eating bread out of my hand. I would put a sliver of bread on my wrist, and they would walk up on my hand and reach down to grab it. It was loads of fun. Soon they grew up and were gone, but I'll never forget how much I enjoyed watching them. Well, I didn't mean to ramble on so long, but I guess I was in the mood to tell that story.
