This picture is a 'request' by someone at another site. A bit of a departure from what I usually do and was most challenging for me personally. Lots of 'wrinkles' he had. But fun to do none the less.
Graphite on 80 lb paper. Blended with tortillions then scanned into PSP 9. I had to scan in two parts, the original is 11 by 14.
Combined both sections, blended the 'line' with a bit of smudging. Airbrushed background to even color (even a good scanner doesn't always scan correctly). Smudged lines to make them flow. Used gamma correction then Oil Paint Filter from Virtual Painter v.4.
I did use my inhouse critic on this, my son who is an avid trekkie, and star wars fan. He approved, I hope you enjoy... :)
Thank you to everyone who viewed and left a wee note in my Believe Picture. Your words of encouragement always help me, but also brighten my days.
Happy Monday... I'm on vacation so it is a Happy one here LOL.
Be well all
as always
