~*~ Believe ~*~
It's spring and the fae are sending their messangers.... to one and all...
BELIVE...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just got a whole slew of new art supplies, my yearly treat to myself. I felt like a kid in a candy shop.
She's a bit different, not the long flowing hair but I did try for a curlier hair do on her. Used daughter as model for this one!!!
Sketched, then traced and transfered to mein teintes. Colored with pencils then scanned into PSP 9. Tons of smudging, a bit airbrusing to clean background, added the 'white' to the eyes, and voila..
Stars and dragon flies are tubes in PSP 9. Frame added.
Enjoy one and all, have a terrific week ahead... :) Be well and be safe. Tons of thanks to everyne who viewed my bear totem yesterday.
As always
Pat
I like the way you capture the composition of your faeries, and the colors you choose for them. Have you ever heard of Amy Brown? She is a fantasy artist who does a collection of fairies; in some ways, her depictions are similar to yours.
i do believe in fairies! i doo! , my daughter has that on her wall!... lovely reminds me of airbrush!..awesome
