Description
This is an older image I found from our pics at the 140th reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg, held in August 2003. Rain and soggy fields postponed the event from the July to August. The actual critical and heartfelt battle happened in July, 1863.

I have aged this image, obviously. The number of reenactors brought a scope of battle to the event. This was real enough to make one cry for those in that war and in others. Still, it sometimes must be fought whether by design or circumstance. The image is not wonderful but will hopefully open the eye to numbers of men involved in 1863, each with some life to keep living.
