Description
The other side of the stone cottages. Boarded up, posted "No Trespassing" and surprisingly little grafitti. Up the road and 'round the bend is the white house that started/ends this series. We are about half-way down the hillside approaching the paper mill at the river's edge.
Still some more stuff to see. Maybe not as romantic as a ruined castle, but ... still interesting in its own way.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
Yes, Meredith, you may play... ;-) I can hardly wait to see what you are up to! ;-D

Dear TW, I just focused on the proximity of the house to the road - YIKES! Even with stone walls I'd be afraid I might have an unwelcomed house guess at any second. When I was a kid back home, one of the local "character" pulled up to one of the seedier local watering holes - and through brake failure or blood alcohol level, managed to drive through the wall and ram the pool table up against the bar. As the dust settles, he crawls out, looks at the open mouthed stunned faces and says, "I think I need to buy a round for the house." I know itsounds like an urban legend, but MY UNCLE was the bar owner and served up the round before the police arrived. (I have some VERY strange relatives!) Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith
Another excellent shot of old place!!!!
Meredith, we had a similar accident here about 4 years ago that took the lives of 4 under the influence teens, Luckily the home owners were away for the weekend as the whole porch collapsed on the car as the crashed into the house and entere the living area. But Wees, this angle is much better to show off the stoen work! Great shot
