Description
Astronaut Roger Houston leads a survey team into a cave on Miranda, a moon of Uranus famed for having the deepest canyon in the Solar System. One of very few moons with an atmosphere, Miranda probably looks nothing at all like this!!
tS 5.1 for all the modeling and composition. Terragen (or should that be Mirandagen?) was used to make 3 images for the background (one for the sky, another with the light from the setting sun and the 3rd for the reflected light from Uranus. Various images were merged with Ability Photopaint. An orthographic image from Terragen was also used to texture the cave rock.

Cool! Good pw and composition. Sounds like much work ...
Hi Stephen, Wow really like this one. The POV from inside the cave really works well. The only thing that I would say is maybe the staligmites are a bit dark and over power the scene a little. Other than that, a really fine piece of work. :o)
This is very well put together. The models look great too. Terragen is a master for backgrounds and you have done a great job.
Great to see you back W!ZARD!! Nice image, it looks like the cover of those sci-fi books I love to read ;)
Great looking scene, I particularly like the model of the vehicle. Well done :)
Wonderful SCI-Fi piece! I love your use of lighting! Fabulous!
So many views of this one - I would have expected more comments! Great!
