Description
This is my first photo of one of these, I could only get off one semi clear shot before it was gone. It was so tight to the plants I just could not get a full shot. This has a vine right through it's back but, the head is in full view.

Considering how fast these tiny birds are I think this is pretty amazing...you got so close! I like the compo and partly obscured view of the bird. I think the only way to get this totally in focus is to use a flash...that might blind the poor thing though. Cool fast action shot =)

Please, no apologies! The silky body, iridescent throat, atomic whirr of wings, exact complementary-color flower accent---you caught it ALL---FOREVER and to PERFECTION. And, size means nothing---from the GREAT (egrets) to the petite (hummingbirds)---you capture every breathtaking speck of beauty in ONE shot. (Personally, I'm going to throw MY camera into the Pacific! Competition is over!) Thank you so much for the joy and exquisite beauty. Unicorn 1776.
