Description
OK I painted this one over ..but thought hard on it and decided to leave it as is..
I am trying to expand my horizens with photography inspired by many great photographers on here..
BUT its a big part of who I am. You see, I have always seen faces in things ..Last summer I sat out on my Tiki Poarch and painted over 100 rocks with my children for fun summer projects got all the kids in the nieghborhood looking at rocks - the shapes of them and all of a sudden everyone was noticing rocks and bringing them over LOL i have this overwhelminly HUGE pile of rocks that I havn't gotten to yet.. LOL
I was in a cave with my children Sunday I said look at that face over there!!, no one was interested or EVEN saw anything 'cept a dark boring cave .. at first I was looking at an indian cave painting but was in awe of the face and shot this...
Thank you again Zacko for your help again

i personally think the lighting is fantastic here, dark and moody! the face in the rock is damn cool, reminds me of the walking trees in the lord of the rings (forget what they were called). very well captured!!!

Yup, I see him. Amazing all the detail in this. Imagine the history. Great shot Kimmie. Where is this cave?
I can see it too, beautifully seen !! Wow :o)
how BEAUTIFUL Kimmers!!!!!! I see a totem!!!! and i see a face, but i don't think it's the same one you see! LOL! i see an old Indian man. he's crying. sigh. I'm the same way...always seeing faces in things!!! how wonderful that you're discovering and enchanted with light!!! kimmers, i recently learned that "photographie" is an old Greek word. if you break it down, "phot" means "light" and "graphos" means "writing." so photography is is translated from Greek to literally mean "light recording." you & most people probably already know this, but i just discovered it recently when i was doing some studying on the history of photography. Anyway, I'm glad you're noticing light now!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!! You're very imaginative and creative, and I can't wait to see more of your photography!!! this one is very expressive and the lighting is fabulous here!!!!
Wow ! Fantastic shot ! Wonderful details and mood ! Excellent work !!! V

I see a face but is it the same face you see - who knows ! Wonderful anecdote to go with this one - what photography, for me, is all about - looking at the world around you and actually seeing it maybe for the first time.
An excellent capture...!!!!
For me it looks more like a frown to be honest!! LOL May he was mad that you were starring at him. LOL However your picture is wonderful and just totally different from what you are doing normally!!! Wonderful Kimmie, great work again!!
I see him! I am one of those who sees faces in things too. Read once where that means you are social and like people. I see other stuff too. WHAT FUN! To go cavin' with the kids! Wish we had a place around here. Can't wait to see what you do with a camera.
