It is already too late to contain the darkness. Now we can only direct the forces that the lesser humans have unwittingly uncovered.
Once more, we move amongst the rabble, leaving rumour and portents in our wake. Our task, to wrest from them the stewardship of ancient secrets and power they are not yet qualified to wield.
The Clan Mothers say it is a time of prophecy and uncertainty.

Wow... all I can say is: it looks awesome! You, sir, remain the master of realistic figures. Maybe you should think about blurring the shadow a bit? Might make the ship look bigger and farther off the ground... just a thought. This is simply AWESOME, though, as always!

I agree with shinyary2: the shadow could be blurrd a bit more... it is difficult to get a sense of scale for the ship. Otherwise, all of the elements are excellent. Your renders have near-photographic quality, Mark. They are a treat to view and the text is intriquing, as always.

Excellent story and picture. One thought: You might consider adding figures standing on the ship to give a sense of scale. But that's a minor thing... Fantastic work.
