And now for something completely different...Not sure what I'm looking at, but I like the forms very much. Glad to see you experiment, it's usually a sign of growth.

Not necessarily deeper, just personal, anyway, I just like to draw, I can't always make out Miro's work, but I enjoy it very much.

Well, I see a coffin shape and lots of red, so I figure someone's become the dragon's lunch...

I like the gestalt that happens until the figure slips into place, red teeth and gums abruptly switching from foreground to background (great use of colour) and the overall symbolism of pain. Those runic messages in his mouth and on the gem must mean something, but its like writing you read in a dream. An excellent work.

I can't recall any myth of red dragon transforming by a man he ate... :-) But this drawing is great - and I can see that the man in jaw is strong; maybe strong enough to change any dragon's jaw's shape. :-D

Could also be a Talisman to turn a man into a red dragon. Runes are used by magicians and so are markings on bodies and weapons. That pointed crystal or stone could be a weapon or a shield. Interesting image.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was THE RED DRAGON by Thomas Harris. I may be totally off base on this, but it appears that the red dragon is as badly injured by virtue of his acts, as his victims. Of course there may be some reference to William Blake here as well. In any case, I love image. Excellent artwork.
